portraits of plants

some plants from my sketchbook; no lichen yet. combination of pencil and marker. my scanner is ancient and it did not pick up all my pencil, oops.





in retrospect these are kind of manky, but i like them anyway because they're helping me figure something out. the cactus is my favorite.

i want to arrange a trip to go to the franklin park zoo so I can draw portraits of primates. summer: i like it.
